Welcome to "BATTLE OF THE YEAR CENTRAL EUROPE" during the international Nothing But Flavor Urban Dance Festival at X-tra Zurich (Switzerland) on September, 8th 2018. Like every year the winners of the crew and kids crew competition as well as the winner of the 1vs1 Undisputed will get a wildcard to the "Battle of the Year World Final" on November, 16th and 17th 2018 in Montpellier (France). The Registration is open for the following countries: Denmark, Estonia, Finland, Croatia, Latvia, Lithuania, Norway, Austria, Poland, Sweden, Switzerland, Slovenia, Czech Republic, Hungary and UK. The Crew Competiton is the classical Battle of the Year competition format. Crews will perform a showcase in the preselection and the best crews will be choosen by the judges to battle against each other in a classical Knock-Out round until the winner is clearified. Since 2016 the Kids Crew Competition was integrated to support the next generation of breaking crews.

Undisputed is the ultimate 1vs1 Breaking Competition and brings the best BBoys and BGirls from this planet on stage. The 1vs1 Breaking category within Battle of the Year is part of the worldwide Undisputed network. To compete in Zurich (Switzerland) and win a wildcard for the international finals in Montpellier is a chance to enter the world scene of Breaking.

The Battle of the Year (BOTY) is the biggest breaking competition in the world, often referred to as the world cup of breaking. Since 1990 the competition has grown to an international high-quality event.
Battle of the Year is much more than a contest. BOTY became a week-long festival of the Hip Hop culture and feature different battles, showcases, workshops and much more to ensure the event stays true to its breaking roots and spreading Hip Hop culture to a larger public audience. This year BOTY is going to celebrate the 27th Anniversary and will be held for the first time in Essen (Germany).
